A snapshot of some of IDS’ activities for the week

* Marc’s schedule of upcoming workshops
* Reviewed ART 1400 IN changes, suggestions
* JPNS 1010 IN cancelled until further notice
* Helping DGM reboot DGM 3760 IN mid-semester
* Potential for LMS migration within next 2-3 years (UEN, Ray Walker)
* First payment and scheduling requested for many new Summer IN courses
* Staff continuing development of new courses for Summer and Fall
* Received needed planning materials for GEO 1010 IN
* Hired Kevin Maddox as new regular PT Web Developer; waiting on 2nd position from HR
* Preparing for next CBJT grant mtg
* Planning student video tutorial for Bb
* Travis and Janel met w/Cheryl Hanewics and Genan Anderson to collaborate on an IRB Video (http://www.uvu.edu/irb/) for use across campus and in our courses. Target date for completion is May 1.
* CJ 1010 is being moved up to summer delivery with a 3/17 target date for full content due
* Discovered Library Research Tutorials that may suffice for a video for use in our courses at: http://www.uvu.edu/library/tutorials/index.html

* IDS semesterly planning meeting today (staff reviews this week)
* Online resources links in all courses have been updated to student resources at: http://disted.uvu.edu/students/resources.html
* Many applications are being received through Student Employment for replacement Web Developer positions with closing date of Feb 1.
* Classified Hourly Web Developer position was extended one week
* ENGH 0890 IN (Forrest Williams) has had trouble getting the course cartridge
* Created Google Doc for DE Catalog entry on Friday
